Client order
The first step in personnel consulting or "head-hunting" is the accurate definition of the needed professional and personality requirements sought in the desired candidate. Continuous consultation on the most minute details can have a major impact even at this early phase. With full knowledge of the client's needs, P&Bert's consultants select the search parameters and decide what other techniques (direct search, advertisement, etc) they will utilize in addition to the company's extensive database. Long-term cooperation between the client and the consultant is an advantage, as it means more in-depth knowledge of the company and the industry as well as a more accurate understanding of the customer's needs and profile of the people sought.
Long list
The long list is the title of a primary document containing the list of the candidates uncovered, but not yet examined. Depending on the nature of the search, the long list will contain professionals from certain industries, segments or from a set of companies previously selected by the client. The client will not receive this "draft list", unless agreed otherwise beforehand. The list will be prepared within 2-3 days from the time of order (although of course in case of an advertisement this period can be as long as 2-3 weeks).
Short list
Short list
This is the list of candidates found to be appropriate after the interview phase. These are the candidates whose information will be forwarded to the client. Generally two or three persons from the short list will be selected for a personal introduction to the client.
Contracting
When the client makes a decision to hire the new employee, the time comes for preparing and signing an employment contract. Our consultants are not closely involved at this phase, but they may assist in maintaining contact between the parties and in reconciling interests between them (e.g. in wage negotiations).
Follow-up
Our consultant, the employee and the client remain in contact after the employee's hiring. P&Bert's expert provides assistance in adaptation, and maintains contact online in the first weeks of the new relationship. Among other advantages, this allows for more thorough knowledge of the client company that can help in performing future orders even more accurately.
